Rock fish is by far the easiest fish to catch and a favorite for many offshore fisherman. We offer long leader rock fishing and bottom rock fishing. $200 Per person.

Salmon

Salmon fishing is a seasonal fish we like to target. Chinook and Coho salmon can be caught all over in the ocean and in the rivers. When the salmon are in, we do our best to get into the ocean, but if the ocean does not cooperate, we hit the rivers. $200 Per person.

Pacific Halibut

Oh my! Halibut is the cream of the crop. Halibut is one of the best tasting fish out there. We go out for halibut as much as possible. It’s always an adventure. If time and ocean conditions allow, we sometimes swing by the rock fishing reefs on the way back and load up the fish boxes. $350

ABOUT

Captain Kelly

I reside in the Lane county area, and have been fishing this area most of my life. I was introduced to ocean fishing over a decade ago and since then I have not looked back.

I started out salmon fishing the Siuslaw and Umpqua rivers with friends and family. I bought my first 13′ boat so I could get on the water. I buzzed up and down the river chasing chinook for a few seasons. I soon outgrew that boat, and decided to pull the trigger on a 22′ Hewes Craft Pro V. This boat opened up fishing grounds that I never thought I would have access to. I learned through friends, YouTube videos, and a lot of trips how to offshore fish for rock fish and halibut.

After multiple seasons of being successful and wanting to share my experiences with more people, I decided to get an even larger boat. I found a King Fisher 28′ offshore vessel that suited my needs. This boat is like driving a semi-truck on the water. The power and ability to safely navigate the offshore waters is a great luxury. I am very grateful to be the captain of this vessel.

In 2022, I decided to go to school and get my captains license and start a fishing guide business. I am ready to get out there, share my knowledge with others, enjoy some adventures and catch some fish!
